Natalie: Holland isn't necessarily like Germany in regard to having few children. My parents were both from large families (Dad had five sisters and Mum three brothers and two sisters.) My cousins' families are mostly largish as well.
Though of course, I mostly don't think of six children as a large family, since I'm in a family of ten, and there's one family in our church with twelve. :-)

Joanne - so sorry about that! I didn't notice that was the setting I had it on . . . I think it's fixed now! (And Megan, now I'm afraid I made you sign up for a google account for nothing . . . !)

Wowzers. This makes me border-line jealous. I've always imagined going back to Europe with my husband someday, but now I see how fun it would be to take the kids. :D

How fun! You definitely look like you're plotting. Maybe gleefully anticipating stunning multitudes of European bystanders by how many kids you have!
I don't know if Holland is like Germany in that regard, but when I visited some relatives over there I was surprised to find that many of my dad's cousins had no kids, and those who did only had one or two.

I guess the question that begs to be asked is, "WERE you planning something extremely nefarious???" :D
