i like what you said. women are always competing and one-upping each other. i once went to a church where the mothers who nursed their babies put down the mothers who bottle fed so badly that the bottle mothers did not dare to come into the nursery. it was shameful. a bottle mother would make an off-hand comment like, my baby has a cold, and the nursing mothers would sneer, well if you would take that bottle away from her and nurse, she would be healthy. now it is the same with home schoolers. i support people's right to home school. i hate it when they insinuate that i have not followed god's mandate because my children went to public school. each family is different.

Through homeschooling my children I have met hundreds of wonderful women devoted to mothering and educating their children. No two women are alike and no two families are alike. I have learned much from these women and the different ways in which they parent and live.

cheers
Beverley

Grace, it requires grace. Grace for ourselves and grace for others that may be doing things differently than we are.

And let's not forget that the daughters pick up this stuff from their mothers. God willing if the mother is showing grace than more likely the daughter will extend that same grace to her sisters.

Thank you Nancy, as always. The sinful creatures that we are we need constant reminding to show charity.
