		<description>Here's another hindrance that I find in myself: being too quick to indulge my sense of humor. Sometimes I'm willing to take too great a risk with the feelings of others in order to get a laugh. Just yesterday I hurt two of the dearest people in the world just so I could make a joke, which in retrospect wasn't even funny. Happily, they were kinder than I, and readily forgave me.

I like the idea of asking for kindness to guard our lips. I envision a fierce little warrior bayonetting my foolish speech before it can get out of my mouth. I guess that's what it feels like to bite one's tongue!</description>
