My granddaughter Hero is three, and she was being instructed by her mother on her duties to be cheerful because apparently she had been fussin’ a bit. She listened to her mother and said, “Yes ma’am” she would quit the fussin’. As she turned to go, she looked over her shoulder and told her mother, “I’ll try to be cheerful. But it’s hard not being God.”
